Art & Good News 1-11-2025
Weekly roundup for January 11th, 2025 with art and uplifting stories.
From my Art-chive…
As we welcome a fresh start to the new year, I can’t help but feel the warmth of summer already calling my name. My kids are already counting down the days until summer break, and I thought I’d share a nostalgic watercolor piece that reminds me of those carefree summer days. Growing up, our backyard was always filled with an inflatable or plastic pool, which we’d fill up with the backyard hose. It was a fun project, but it was also a bit of a challenge – we’d all have to hold up the sides until it was full enough. And let’s not forget the duct tape – it was a constant battle against leaks, but it was all part of the adventure. I hope you’re thinking of warmer weather and the exciting year ahead!
